ICAT-EGVE: International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence & Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments
September 11-13, 2019
The University of Tokyo - Hongo Campus, Japan

Welcome to ICAT-EGVE 2019

On behalf of the committee of International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence & Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments, it is my pleasure to invite all of the great researchers, engineers and students from all over the world to attend the conference from September 11-13, 2019 Tokyo, Japan.

ICAT is the oldest international conference on Virtual Reality and Telexistence, started in 1991. ICAT-EGVE is a traditionally-innovative conference. We are open to all who are interested in this field, such as virtual reality, robotics, computer graphics, haptics, multi-modality interactions, entertainment computing and e-sports.

As a new challenge this year, the conference will be held jointly with the annual conference on virtual reality society in Japan (VRSJAC). The VRSJAC has more than 800 participants and will be held in Japanese. However, most presentations are in a poster-demo format, then you can explorer cutting-edge VR achievements in Japan, and exchange research results and ideas in English as a matter of course.

Although the summer heat of Tokyo still remains in September, we welcome you to this conference and look forward to your participation. I hope you will have an exciting experience in ICAT-EGVE 2019 Tokyo.
